Trump 2025 disclosure shows $1.4B+ crypto income; broadcast frames as corruption

Jul 1, 2026

The segment reports on President Trump's 927-page 2025 financial disclosure, detailing over $1.4 billion in cryptocurrency-related income including $635 million from his meme coin, over $500 million from World Liberty Financial token sales, and $65 million from an equity stake sale. It also covers real-estate holdings such as Trump National Doral ($121 million), Mar-a-Lago ($77 million), and Trump Tower Chicago ($39 million), plus under $80 million from legal settlements with Meta, ABC, CBS, and YouTube. The White House response emphasizes making the U.S. the 'crypto capital' with no conflicts of interest. Panelists describe the figures as staggering and corrupt, compare them to past family-business concerns, and argue the self-dealing distracts from other issues while Republicans in Congress fail to scrutinize.
